About Us
Bradley Falk
My Path Books Memoir Writing Service was founded by Bradley and Jolan Falk, who live in Tampa, Florida. They are Memoir writers, storytellers, and creatives. They share a passion for filling their home with the people and the books they love.
Bradley is our literary bridge builder. His big-picture creative thinking ties a Memoir together by the most unexpected and pleasing associations, much like a well-constructed poem.
Bradley has journaled daily since he was 10 years old and is an experienced writer who sincerely enjoys challenging assignments. He received his first Memoir writing project shortly after graduating from college.
He has personally and relentlessly curated a collection of over 5,000 antiquarian books that has received considerable attention from book lovers and collectors for decades. Over one-third of the books are from the 1800s, and his passion is both fiction and nonfiction, before the automobile was invented.
For over 15 years, Bradley traveled to Europe to import warmblood sport horses, specializing in Hanoverians with jumping bloodlines. He bred several mares and enjoyed working with the foals. He trained horses to a jump height of 1.5 meters; for fences higher than that, he hired a professional rider.
Jolan Falk
As a voracious reader who consumes dozens of genres, Jolan brings both world-centric and character-centric perspectives to the writing table.
Jolan is equally a natural and studied editor; beyond her ability to create and write, she very often represents the reader by ensuring there is always a mutating dramatic tension to pull them forward, cover to cover.
She is also skilled at photograph placement. A Memoir at its finest begins first with photos on the writing table—that rarely occurs. Jolan excels, with minimal editing, to rewrite around the most vital photos.
She is the founder of her neighborhood’s 25-year-old book club that retains several original members. There is a ratio for the number of attendees for a given month and the number of empty wine bottles, which, of course, is a tightly guarded book club secret.
Jolan is also the Falk’s Pembroke Welsh Corgi selector and keeper. For over a quarter of a century, the Falks have had three Corgis: Emma, Viggo, and now a one-year-old named Bennett.
The Falks celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year.
How This Works
My Path Books Memoir Writing Service tells the story of what it’s been like being you on planet Earth. After an introductory phone call, we’ll assess your needs and provide a custom price proposal. Some clients have a finished manuscript and want us to edit it. Some have written up a few of their favorite stories, and some haven’t written a word.
You provide us with the who, what, why, and when through rough drafts, questions, and voice/video call interviews tailored for you and your Memoir genre. We gather your information, add depth and clarity, and finally, we weave interconnectedness into it.
My Path Books writes Memoirs that are read cover to cover.
Our experience and expertise free you up to focus on your story. While we mold, arrange, and polish your Memoir we will discover the predominant themes and messages of your life.
My Path Books does not use AI to write for us. We have never offshored anything, and you would be surprised that the majority of Memoirists do. We work with you one-on-one. Your project will not be passed from writer to writer due to conflicting schedules and deadlines.

“Legacy” is a word that is used far too often by people who have no grasp of its meaning. The word “legacy” comes from the Latin word legatus, which means “envoy” or “ambassador.”
Without a Memoir, it is difficult to leave a multi-generational legacy of your life and/or your life’s work, that will retain YOU in it, because people get busy, people physically move, people emotionally move on, people age, and people die.
